Making a statement

Asking questions

Which one gets you farther in life?

By communicating, we can change the events around us by telling people what we think and feel.

How do you expand your knowledge base?

How do you discover?

What ways are you willing to change your communications?

If you changed your communications style, how would you benefit?

If the way you communicated changed,  how would that make the world a better place?

By changing your communications style, could you actually change things around you?

Asking questions, could it make a difference?

If we look at how we communicate, making a statement about how we can change the events around us really sounds great.

Will communicating that statement actually make the change?  I guess you can quickly see that by asking questions, you are actually learning how to communicate effectively.  As you inquire, you can learn.  As you learn, you discover better opportunities to communicate and can change events around you.

So if the world is not so good around you, what can you do to change events?

Taking the time to explore the situation at every step will give insight, which will lead to your first question.  What can I do about the horrible situation at _______?

Starting there, you can continue to look at your situation and move through by asking questions and gaining insight.  As you can insight, you can learn how to effectively communicate the issues to others and then actually make changes.

Is it possible to change the world around you?

Will those changes help you?

I don’t know, have you tried?

Statements are merely statements.  Statements can tell what is going on, when it is going on and it can provide anger, sadness, or continue the frustration that exists around us.  A statement is one way communication.

Questions on other hand, may give us an opportunity to look at what is going on around us and determine the need for change.  Questions could give us the guidance to move forward to repair the situation (at home, at school, at work or with friends).  Questions can give you insight to approach situations in a different way.

Questions lead to learning.  Questions can provide for improved communications.

As you explore your situation through questions, you often learn that asking questions provides answers to the dilemma, but it often leads you to a better question.

Can I balance statements and questions to improve my situation?

I really don’t know, why don’t you ask some questions and take a good honest look at what is going on around you.
