How often do you look at a situation and wonder what would happen if we thought about it differently. Can you discipline yourself to look at something differently?
I have wondered for years why people have to be difficult.
Yesterday, there was a difficult person at a religious building. He has been there before, he had caused problems before. But I asked why he was there and he merely said this is a house of Godly worship and he needs to be here.
There are some traditionalist in some communities (meditation and philosophy) that believe a difficult person is a teacher. This is not the traditional teacher that we first think of, but a teacher none the less.
I found this quote on and thought that it would be appropriate to share, especially after yesterdays experience.
Whosoever may torment you, harass you, confound you, or upset you, is a teacher. Not because they’re wise, but because you seek to become so.
